Ghost of Tsushima | Version 1.1 Update Trailer | PS4 This is the kind of game that stands out from everything else you're playing, and will go down as an classic.* This Sony Ghost of Tsushima Gaming Title video is for illustration purpose only. In fact, I was literally trying to think of reasons to doc a point and give it a 9 until I realized how stupid and unfair that was. Overall, if you're at all like me and like games that focus on story just as much as gameplay, you'll be hard pressed to find faults with GOT. I'm glad they didn't try to introduce magic or curses or something like that because it wouldn't have fit. The further in the story I got the more I started experimenting with different combinations of ghost weapons, bow, and melee strikes, not to mention getting comfortable with switching stances meant I was taking on large groups and fighting each foe in a different way. The combat is addictive and can be as varied as you make it. Sure, if you're trying to 100% it there are a lot of going around searching for artifacts and charms and stuff, but the actual 'tales' missions are all great and give the world and main story more depth. Which brings me to side missions, which is where I think the comparison to Witcher 3 is warranted. the story is compelling and propulsive- It had me wanting to save main missions so I could savour the overall story more. I see people complain about graphics!?!? This is one of the very few games I've played that runs 60fps in fidelity mode! Seriously, this game looks as good or in most cases better than anything coming out in 2023, especially taking into account the gorgeus art direction/design. Ghost of Tsushima is near perfect in every way. and even in that case, this is like someone saying that a Kurosawa film like Seven Samurai or Ikiru isn't a masterpiece because they prefer Citizen Kane. I'm playing the director's cut on ps5 as my first time through the game, and it is an amazing experience on par with The Witcher 3 or even Red Dead 2- now I personally think RDR2 is a better game overall, but it is like comparing every new film made to The Godfather or Raging Bull. That's the type of thing that may cause a loss of 1, maybe 2 points at most, and only if it really upset you.
Ghost of tsushima price upgrade#
Giving the whole game a low score because you felt the upgrade cost was too high or the dlc wasn't long enough is ridiculous. Anyone giving this game less than an 8 is being dishonest.
